"Really? That's pretty cool," Mac grinned. He's really nice. And cute. She added to her thoughts.

"People here don't really skateboard, let alone in Great Britain," Max added, "Only a few, and there is like one Skateboard store in all of Hawaii!"

"You skateboard too?" Mac asked, turning to the other male.
"Yeah, although I'm not quite as good as Xzavier. Yet," he added, winking.

"Well I'm pretty good, I was best in my school," Mac bragged, now enjoying school just a little more.

"Oh really now?" Xzavier smiled. "Well I'm sorry to break it to you, but that titles gone."
"You want to bet?" Mac challenged.

History: Marlene is never what you'd expect to be a nerd. She doesn't where glasses, nor braces, she never did. She's always been smart, and shy, hard to make friends with. She's normal, although she's considered in the "nerd" clique because you see here in all of the advanced and honors classes, she's always had perfect attendence, and has never had any missing or late assignments. She's also never had anything lower than a B. Not even a B-. There is something that no one knows, though. The reason why she loves school and never wants to leave, is because she lives with only her dad, and her dad beats her. So, she has to be little-miss-perfect.
Description: Marlene is the kind of girl you'd expect to be one of the populars. She has perfect teeth, perfect eyes, the perfect amount of freckles, and just a plain perfect face. She's somewhat skinny, but she doesn't starve herself. Her hair is a good golden brown that reaches her shoulder blades, usually up in a high-ponytail. She's pretty tall, about 5'9 and still going.

Description: She's the girl with the perfect blonde hair everyone wants. She dyed the tips a caramel color, and curls it everyday. She's skinny, and is such a girly-girl. She does have braces, but that doesn't matter.
Personality: Kyleigh's smart, athletic, and perfect. That's not all, though. She's a leader, always pushing everyone around. She's super bossy, and hates everyone but the people in her clique. She's such a judgmental jerk, and she will talk about you behind your back.

(Sure, Marlene first)
There was nowhere else to sit, so Marlene plopped herself down next to Alexis. Of course, being the shy girl she is, she just started eating. It was kinda awkward until Marlene thought, Come on, make some friends! Be social! Not like middle school. So, Marlene swallowed her food and looked at Alexis. "Hey!" She said, with a slight voice crack, "I'm Marlene."

"Alexis," the girl murmured, with the slightest crack in her voice. She turned back to her book, and flipped a page.
Well that was rude, Marlene thought. "Um, what are you reading?"

"Nothing," she mumbled, closing it and putting it away. Marlene forced a smile and retrieved eating.

"Um, I'm a freshman this year, how about you?" Marlene tried to make conversation once more, as a last attempt of getting through to the girl.

"Same," Alex said quietly, making no eyes contact. Or any contact, for that matter. I give up, Marlene thought, making a loud sigh. Alexis looked at her as she stuffed her face with her lunch. That's when she noticed a big brown/blue bruise on her arm.

Marelene saw Alexis' strange gaze. "What?" she said, after swallowing. "Is there something stuck in my teeth?"
Alexis indicated where she was looking at on her arm, and Marelene immediately slapped her hand over it. "Excuse me," she whispered, taking her tray up and walking briskly out of the cafeteria.

Holy shit, she thought, I should cover it up more.

Back to Mac-
Kyleigh sat down with her lunch. "Hey," she said taking a bite of her food, "Who's the girl?" she asked rudely, pointing at Mac. "I'm Mackenzie, but I go by Mac." She introduced herself. Kyleigh nodded and said, "Nice accent," with a mouth full of food.

"Thank you," Mac smiled. "So, are you up for the skateboarding challenge?" She asked Xzavier, smirking. "I bet I can kick your sorry a-"
"What are you talking about?" Kyleigh asked, food still in her mouth.
"Kyleigh, swallow before you talk. It's disgusting," Max said, rolling his eyes.
"Well sor-rie!" She snapped, annoyed.

Kyleigh waited until she swallowed to continue, "Anyways, what are you talking about?" Xzavier looked annoyed and added, "She always gets into other's business. We are going to have a skateboarding challenge to see who the real champ around here," Mac giggled at this and parted in, "It's going to be me!"

"Nah, Xzavier's probably got you beat. He's won plenty of competitions around here," Kyleigh commented, smirking at Mac.
"It helps if you surf," Xzavier shrugged. "But since you don't, I'd like to see what your version of a champion is," he laughed.
"Okay then, so when are we doing this? We have the game to go to tonight so..." Mac trailed off, trying to figure out times in her head.
"Wait, what game?" Kyleigh chimed in, annoyed.

Xzavier face-palmed.
"Kyleigh," he muttered, "Stop getting into our business!" She rolled her eyes and repeated herself, this time towards Mac. "Xzavier and Max invited me to tonight's game," she said softly. Then she turned to Xzavier and said, "I have won at least 148 competitions, came on second at least 98, and came in third at least 12," she laughed when Xzavier looked at her confused, "I've been skating since I learned how to walk,"

"Oh really? Now that's the kind of skating I'd like to see," Xzavier chuckled, moving a bit closer towards Mac.
"Womanizer," Kyleigh muttered, shoving another forkful of food in her mouth.
"What was that?" Mac asked, looking at the cheerleader.
"Oh,nothing."

Mac gave a confused look to Kyleigh, then continued talking, "And that's what you'll see," Mac chuckled, moving a bit away from Xzavier as she started to feel uncomfortable.

The lunch bell rang, and Mac shot up and left immediately, glad for something to fill the bit of awkward space. I have a date tonight. The words rang in her head. I have a date with an amazing popular extremely hot guy tonight.
