"It's, It's no big deal," Bella whimpered into her legs.
"If it's no big deal, why don't you tell me?" Tara joked softly, rubbing her friend's back. "Come on, it can't be that bad. What is it?"
"I can't tell you Tara. I'm sorry," Bella cried.
"Can't or won't? Whatever it is, I wouldn't be mad at you if that's what you're implying."

Bella sobbed, "I don't know!" Tara sighed. Just then, Ace finally woke up and walked in. "Awe Bells, what's wrong?" he sat down on the other side of her. Bella shrugged, in that 'I don't wanna tell you' matter. "C'mon, I'm your BEST FRIEND!" Tara punched him in the arm, and he quickly corrected himself. "Well, best MAN friend. You can tell me-" Tara punched him again. "I mean you can tell US anything! Sheesh Tara." Ace concluded. Bella laughed, picking up her head, showing her pinkish-red face with tears streaming down her face. Although she was smiling, you could see deep down inside her eyes that something was quite wrong.

"You really wanna know?" Bella asked, wiping tears from her face.
"Noooooo, we just tried to get that out of you for the past ten minutes because we never wanted to be told," Ace rolled his eyes, mocking Tara.
"I don't do that!" Tara punched Ace again, giggling.
"Yes, you do. Now Bella tell us! What could possibly be that bad that you couldn't? We've known each other since we were four. You can tell us anything," Ace pointed out, rubbing his hurt arm.

Bella laughed a little. She unraveled her knees, putting her feet flat on the ground. She look at her two friends, then looked down. She took a deep breath, and wiped tears from her eyes.

"Well, I don't want to make anything awkward..." Bella trailed off.
"Oh, NOW I get it!" Tara smiled. "FINALLY! It took you two long enough!"
"What do you mean by you two? Wait, did he say...?"
"Practically! Ohmygosh, I'm so happy for you!"
"He has to say yes first!" Bella pointed out.
"WHAT IS GOING ON?" Ace asked, completely confused.

Bella and Tara burst out laughing while ace sat there confused. "That was your big sercret?" Tara said, playfully pushing her. "That's not all though. That's the only I'm going to be telling you guys, for now at least." She muttered.

"Tell us the rest then!" Tara begged.
"Not yet! Can I at least ask him first?" Bella rolled her eyes.
"ASK WHO WHAT?" Ace yelled, exhausted.
"Then ask him, he's right there," Tara pointed out.
"Yes, but if I did it now it'd be pretty awkward."

"WHAT THE FUDGE NUGGETS IS GOING ON?!" Ace whined. They started laughing again. "Wait what about the other one? The fire?" Tara asked. Bella replied, "I think he's gay," Tara looked confused and asked, "How do you know?"
"I saw him and another guy kissing in a tree."
"Oh how.....Wonderful?"
"Yeah."
"Was that the other part of your secret?"
"Not really."
"Oh"
"GUYS!" Ace whimpered.

"But, he seemed really into you," Tara pointed out. "Maybe he's bi?"
"Possibly, but I don't really care either way."
"True, you guys would be so cute!"
"I know!"
"You still have to tell me the other part Bella!"
"I will after I ask him."
"DAMMIT I'M GOING DRINKING!" Ace threw his hands up, and headed out the door.

"Wait," Bella said, getting up and chasing him down. "Will.. Umm.. Uh..." She paused. "Nevermind." Bella got red but turned away fast enough so Ace wouldn't see. Tara got up and said, "Ace, Bella, I pronounce you girlfriend and boyfriend." Bella burst into a laughting attack. "What?" He said, still confused. "Ace, will you go out with Bella?" Ace got red too, and smiled. "Yes," he said. Tara then reapeted, "Now, I PRONOUNCE YOU TWO GIRLFRIEND AND BOYFRIEND!"

"Oh gawd, Tara practically married us," Bella laughed, blushing.
"Not married, coupled. There's a difference!" Tara bent down, out of breath from laughing.
"Okay, well NOW I'm going drinking. M'lady?" Ace held out his hand, bowing slightly, a smile plastered on his face.
"I'd be delighted," Bella fake curtsied, and took his hand.
"HOLD IT! I'm coming with you so I can limit your margaritas." Tara declared.

"That's a good idea," Bella laughed, "oh by the way, thank for ruining that fancy moment." Tara laughed and hugged Bella.

"To the margaritas!" Ace declared.
"And because of this I'm still not going to get to try them. Screw you both," Tara flipped the new couple off, and laughed.
"Ace will watch us next time, I promise," Bella said.

Bella flipped her off back. "Wait so you're not coming?" Bella asked.

"Oh no, I'm coming. But I have to be sober so I can put a limit on what you drink," Tara explained.
"Oh, that makes sense. Hey! You're coming on my first date!" Bella pouted.

Ace laughed and said, "It's not really a date... Yet." Bella rolled her eyes. "I don't care," she said, "Lets go!" Bella motioned to the door and started walking, still holding Ace's hand.

Finally the couple made it to a tavern, not the one they were at the night before because they were at the festival, and sat down at the bar.
"What can I do ya for?" The bartender asked, winking at Ace.
"Two margaritas please," Bella said, draping her arm around her boyfriend.
"Anything for the other chick?"
"Nah, she's watching us. What a buzzkill," Bella rolled her eyes, laughing.

"Actually, I think I'll take one," Tara said, taking both Ace and Bella by surprise. "Alright," the bartender said, going to the back to get the drinks.

"Tara, you bad girl!" Bella smirked. "You're supposed to watch us!"
"It's not like I'm going to have ten! I'm having one. No matter what. Okay?" Tara rolled her eyes.

"Okay..." Ace laughed, "Just letting you know that 'just one' was what we said on our first..." he winked at Tara and she rolled her eyes. Bella laughed, "It's true!"

"I don't care. Slap me if I reach for another. Better yet use your new Bender powers and blow it away," Tara snickered.
"Fine, we just thought we'd warn you!" Ace sighed, and watched the bartender walk back.

"Here you go," He said confirming the order, "3 margaritas, one for the man, 2 for the ladies." Ace nodded and smiled. "Thanks," he said to the bartender, handing the drinks to Tara and Bella, "How much?" The bartender replied, "$20.69" Ace handed him the money and began drinking.

"It's alright I guess. Nothing to swoon over," Tara said, sipping her drink.
"Are you crazy!? They're amazing!" Bella squealed.
"Possibly, but I don't want to get hammered. I'll drink about half and one of you can have the rest of mine. I shouldn't get drunk that way," she practically stated.
