| What is "Kipengele Kingdom?" Kipengele Kingdom is a story based off of the WOF Role Play. Just so whoever wants to read it doesn't have to read through all of the pages, I'll be taking the basic plotlines and some of the quotes, and rewriting them into a story form here. New chapters will be added all the time as the Role Play is currently being done. I'll accept critisim in the comments, and if you want a better look on Kipengele Kingdom, go to the Role Play thread and check it out! Want to get involved? Join it! We love new members to RP with. Prologue: - Spoiler:
In the land of Concordia, peoples derived of different elements, living together in peace, helping each other sustain life. Each element was called a Kipengele, and each Kipengele had different powers, bodies, and ways of life. The people of Aer, soon known as Wind, brought in the weather and gentle breezes, gave wind its sound, and beautiful colors carried with it. The Ignis, or Fire, brought heat and warmth to households, ways to cook food, and light to give sight at dusk. The Aqua, or Water, supplied water for drinking, oceans filled with fish, and rain to replenish the crops of the Terra, or Earth. The Earth were delightful people, growing crops and raising livestock, and kept animals as pets. They delivered food all throughout Concordia, and grew flowers as decorations for pretty sights. All four Kipengeles, whether Water, Fire, Earth, or Wind, were united by one common trait: Aether, the element of Spirit. Alas, all could not stay peaceful for long. Separate Kipengeles began to become enemies, and quarrel over things like the Fires melting the snow created by Wind and Water, and the Water from the snow hurting them back. The winds from the Aer grew too strong, blowing the Ignis fires across Earth, and burning crops needed to grow food. The Earths didn’t know who to blame. However, some members of certain Kipengeles grew a bit too friendly, and fell in love. While this wasn’t as much a problem between Earth and Wind for example, in couples such as Fire and Water or Fire and Earth, pain was caused between them, and sometimes death. Deaths of loves occurred in cross-kipengele childbirth, and the remaining parents didn’t know how to raise the children. Thus suffering ensued. To attempt to stop the torture of the world, one young representative of each Kipengele was elected to have a council and create a solution. These members would eventually become the great lords and lordettes of the kingdoms. After much quarrel, a solution was proposed. A wall, would be built, separating the four Kipengeles, each side leading to a clearing in the middle, as well as the castle of the leaders. This clearing would be used for yearly festivals of the Kipengeles, to show off talents, sell goods, and reunite with friends. And although it was technically illegal, some teenagers would meet with friends at the wall daily, to talk and eat and enjoy themselves. Which brings us to now, 60 years later…

| I like the story, but I have advice for you. What I do with my paragraphs on the computer is I put an extra space between each paragraph so that I can tell when the paragraph ends if the last sentence is really long. Here's an example:
I was running through the woods. I wasn't paying attention to anything around me. I was just running from the tracker jackers. Suddenly, I heard screaming. I saw the whole swarm of tracker jackers stinging the careers. "Way to go, Katniss!" I thought, not realizing she was attacking me, too. I felt a few tracker jackers sting me. I ran to the lake with the careers and then I came back to see who died. I found Katniss trying to grab Glimmer's bow and arrows and I knew that she was about to get killed by Cato. I began to panic, knowing that if I saved her, I could die if I got caught saving her. Suddenly, it didn't matter whether I lived or died. My death would take her one step closer to home and she'd win.
"Katniss! Go! Run, Katniss!" I yelled, shoving the bow and arrows into her hands. She took off running and I turned to face an angry Cato.

| Ah, thank you for the advice! I didn't think much of it, I'll edit it later. And write the rest of the story, I kind of forgot about this thread xD | |
