Kipengele Kingdom *I DO NOT OWN THIS*

"Okay, where do you think she would be? I checked all over town," Bella sighed, standing up and walking out of her house.
"I don't know, archery field maybe?" Ace guessed.

"Oh my god," Bella realized, "I didn't even think to look there!"

"Well you did beat her in an archery contest," Ace pointed out.
"I'm an idiot," Bella mumbled, and began to run towards the archery field.

"You are not!" Ace yelled, running after her.

"I've already had this conversation!" Bella yelled back. "Just shut up and run!"
"I am running!" Ace shouted back, chuckling slightly. Finally the archery field was in sight.
"Tara! Where are you?" Bella called, praying that her friend would be there.

"Tara!" She yelled as hard as her lungs would do. Her voice, kinda shaky, echoed. It was late at night, and it was only Bella and Ace. Ace finally caught up to Bella, out of breath. "I'm SO out of shape," he mumbled between pants. "Please!" Bella yelled again. Out of no where, an arrow was shot in between the two friends. "Oh jeez," Ace shouted in fright. A figured showed up. "I told you to leave me alone!" The figure snapped. "Tara?" Bella whispered. Tara wasn't usually like this. Tara was social and kind, not independent and rude. "What happened to you?" Bella whispered even quieter to the raggedy figure as it got closer. Ace's eyes widened as Tara came closer, showing more details, like her messed up hair and scarred up face.

"Like you even care," Tara scoffed, shooting another arrow. Ace caught it before it landed in his shoulder, barely escaping injury.
"Tara, calm down. It's not Bella's fault that she became a b-"
"SHUT UP!" she snapped, eyes blazing with fury.

Ace quickly quieted. Bella said angrily, "I told you she hated me! Why do I even try?" Bella started sobbing, "I do care, Tara." Tara rolled her eyes, crossed her arms, and faced her back to Bella. Bella was crying now, and mumbled, "Somewhere deep down in all that hatred you have for me, I know that you still love me as a sister. When you find that, come talk to me." Bella wondered off, followed by the silent Ace. Tara was tearing but don't let them see it. Bella turned around and commented, "oh and by the way, Tara, there is another festival tomorrow, and I won't touch the bow and arrows."

Why am I such an idiot? Tara thought, her eyes slightly pricked with tears. She didn't mean to hurt Bella so badly, her feelings just took over.
"There's no reason to sit around here and mope." She sighed, to herself. "I need to practice."

Tara tried practicing but she couldn't focus. Bella was the only thing on her mind.

Fire-
The next day the "hottest" new couple met at a tree, preparing for yet another new festival.
"Hey," Brent blushed slightly, greeting his new boyfriend. "Are you ready to go?'
"Yeah," Colby replied. "I honestly have never done this sort of thing before, so I really don't know how this works...."
"You'll be fine. If it doesn't work out we'll be tormented together!" Brent joked, only half-laughing.

"Alrighty," Colby said, following Brent.

The Fires walked to the festival, hands at their sides, almost close enough to touch. But not quite.
"So," Colby asked, as if to try to keep things from getting awkward, "Weird for them to have two festivals so close together, huh?"

"Yeah. Usually it's for someone who just moved here or something," Brent replied.

"But why would two people move here within days? And how would they have Kipengele powers? It's pretty strange," Colby murmured.
"So is finding out that your best friend is gay and in love with you, but you're taking it quite well," Brent blushed, trying to make a joke.

"Okay well that's different," Colby laughed.

"I wonder if we'll run into Bella and Tara again," Brent said, and immediately wished he could take the words back. He didn't want to get Colby thinking about them again, he was already going crazy over Bella before he found out, could he still be thinking about her?

"Maybe, but I'm going to try and avoid them," Colby sighed. Brent was quickly relieved.

"So, what do you want to do today? It is a festival after all. Special occasion," Brent noted casually. I suck at this, he thought annoyed.

"Okay, everything is awkward now," Colby said honestly, "And we need to fix this. I need my bro back!"

"Wait, what are you saying exactly?" Brent asked, confused.

"I'm saying you need to stop worrying. Sure you're new to this, but seriously. I am too and I'm not being awkward. Being a 'thing' shouldn't matter whether we are bros or not. C'mon you're still my best friend!" Colby explained.

"Alright. Let's go have fun! We never did get to try sushi..." Brent smirked.
"I thought you went to get it without me!" Colby sighed, shaking his head.
"What, you think I'd leave you with that train-wreck of a Wind?"
"Stalker much?" Colby laughed. This is what his friend was like!
