"Okay, let's count then!" Lydia said happily.

Lydia ran to the back and grabbed her small sack of coins she earned selling bouquets in town square, ran back to the front, and spilled the contents of the bag on the table. Many small copper colored coins were there, each worth about a dollar in money. Adam's eyes widened.
"I knew you grew the best flowers in Earth, but that's a lot of money!"
"Oh stop it Adam, you're embarrassing me," Lydia teased.

"And plus," Lydia continued, "I'm the only one who makes/grows flowers here right now!"

"Not the only one, just the only one good enough to please all of the other Kipengeles," Adam pointed out, stacking more coins.

"Well technically I am the only one. I'm the only one in this rank right now."

"Yeah, you are the only growis in the Kipengele, how the hell do you get away with owning a flower shop? Don't people need like, fruit?" Adam asked, suddenly curious.
"The orchards are a part-time job," Lydia explained. "I never get a day off though, so it sucks."

"What about today?" Adam asked. Lydia thought for a moment. "The same reason why you're off, everybody but the benders are off due to a new trainee or something."

"Oh yeah, for your sake I hope it's a growis," Adam smiled, and finished counting coins. "I've got seventy three over here, you?"

"85..." Lydia said, "and ya know she/he has to start out as an animal." Adam looked at her funny. "No they don't?" He said and then gave her a full on lecture about starting off.

"Well you can go fluck a hamster," Lydia rolled her eyes, putting some of her money in her safe. "What do you want to do today?"

"I was thinking bowling. I like bowling. Bowling is fun," Adam laughed.

"Bowling? What's Bowling? Do we throw bowls at each other? That sounds dangerous!" Lydia looked around, genuinely confused, and Adam started laughing.
"I'll show you, come on!" And instead of taking his friend's hand like a normal guy in the friend-zone, (A salute to our poor friend zoned guy) he charged out the door, knowing Lydia would run after him.

And the two soon arrived at the bowling alley, which was absolutely nothing like what American bowling alleys were, especially because that world did not exist! The pins were pineapples, and the object of the game was to roll a coconut at them and knock them all down. After you rolled the coconut, the people working at the bowling alley retreived the milk from them, and got it ready to be shipped. This was a fun way of doing work and making extra money, while others got to have fun failing.

"Let go get you some nuts," Lydia said. Adam looked at her with a strange face. "What? I had to okay." The two started laughing as they got the coconuts and started throwing them at pineapples. "Tropical," she said historically.

"Here," Adam laughed handing her another coconut. "Don't you just love rolling my balls around?" He asked, and both of them broke out laughing, until others were staring at them.

"Oh you guys know you just love to do it too!" Adam smirked

"Adam!" Lydia blushed, hitting his arm. "I know you're a pervert but they don't need to know that! You might find a girlfriend here!"

"Is that a problem?" Adam laughed.

"No, I meant that like, you might find a girl you like but she'll shriek and run because she thinks your a pervert. DUH!" Lydia smirked.

"Okay, whatever!" Adam laughed.
