Crashed: A Survivor Role Play

"No prob," Derek mumbled, laughing a bit. Whenever everyone got back home, he'd need to write the love squiggle down and turn it into a book. It'd totally be a bestseller.

"How does it even work?" Reese asked, "Like what's the love squigle?" Ashley let out a small laugh and said, "It's an inside joke."

Derek looked up at Reese and smiled. "Well, the relationships around here have far exceeded the limits of a love triangle, and have gone in so many directions, the only way the shape can be described is in the form of a weird tangled up squiggle. It's like Twilight, but with three more main girl characters and twenty more monsters," he joked, trying to imagine that himself.

"Monsters," Reese repeated, and laughed. He nodded. Ashley's tears started coming back at the thought of the love squiggle. The only perfect part of the squiggle was her and Jared, and she started crying. "I can't get him off my mind," she sobbed, eyeing the pond.

"Ashley, we miss him too, really," Adriana murmured sadly, still holding onto her friend. "And we'll have a memorial for him and everything. But we need to try to move on, focus and keep living. Jared wouldn't have wanted us to die with him, you know?"

"I guess not," Ashley sobbed back, "I mean it's for the best."

Derek leaned over and whispered to Reese, "You know, the way they're holding each other and everything...this is a better love story than Twilight," he joked, followed by Reese's snickering. It was true, hilarious, but true.

Ashley and Adriana let go of each other when they heard that. "Guys, sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm straight and it's pretty obvious!" Ashley giggled. She knew they were trying to get her mind off things, and it was working.

Mystery was 6 when her and her parents took a vacation through boat They had their own boat, so it was only them. Their boat broke down and sunk in the middle of their trip. Mystery saw her parents die, but didn't know what to do so she swam to the nearest island. Soon after, she hit her head by falling out of a tree. After that, she couldn't remember anything. She couldn't remember her name, so she called herself Mystery. She learned to survive on that island, and that is her home. She doesn't know how long she's been there, or even how old she is, but she doesn't care.

"Well I for one ship it!" Derek smirked.
"Okay, while you're shipping things can you ship us off this island?" Adriana laughed, lightly hitting him on the shoulder.
"Or to Jared?" Ashley piped up, forcing a laugh.

"Okay okay no shipping!" Derek whined. He didn't want to bring up Jared again.

"We'll aren't you a killjoy!" Reese teased, but put his hands up in surrender. The ship war had apparently ended and the girls had clearly won.

He rolled his eyes. "I'm kinda hungry," Reese said, changing the subject.

"Then let's go fishing and eat meat! Like real men!" Derek joked, flexing muscles he didn't have.
"Hoo-hah!" Adriana chimed in jokingly.

Derek almost teared up. He swallowed the lump in his throat and chocked out, "You just can't make it work." He forced out a small chuckle.

"S-sorry," Adriana chuckled, suddenly feeling bad for Derek. It was too soon for that kind of a joke. "So....fishing?" She asked hopefully, trying to soften the situation.

"Sure," Derek said. Ashley butted in and said, "my leg freaking hurts, guys. Like, it's spreading!"
