Crashed: A Survivor Role Play

The bears stopped at Ashley and Jared's pond. Something about their eyes seemed worried. As Adriana catched up, she took a look at the pond and said, "See? Nothing." Reese stared at the pond for a moment then said, "Wait, maybe nothing is a bad thing." Viper nodded and said, "Yeah. Where's Ashley?" Then a thought snapped into Viper's head, and her eyes got wide and blurted out, "Wait, the bears lead us to the pond, the one Ashley and Jared fell in love, there is no sign of Ashley..." She trailed off and dived into the water, going deep into the bottom of the pond. The water made her eyes blurry, but she noticed a dark figure at the bottom.

"Don't tell me," Adriana groaned, not bringing her self to look. "Don't fucking tell me what I think just happened happened. Please don't tell me." Did Ashley really....just because Jared was taken away?

Viper's lungs were stinging. How could a small pond be so deep? She swore her lungs were going to explode. As she neared the bottom, she could feel herself needing air. She grabbed the figure, bringing it up slowly. She finally approached the top and took a gasp of air. "Oh my god," she said in between big breaths, "It's so deep!" She set the body on the land and laid down next to it, panting. Adriana gasped at the sight of Ashley half dead. "Told you," Reese muttered.

"DAMN IT I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL ME!" Adriana screamed, and without thinking, slapped Reese. Adriana burst into tears, and collapsed next to Ashley, bawling.

Reese frowned and rubbed his cheek, but he didn't say anything because he knew she was just upset. Once Viper caught her breath, she began to tear.

Quorra finally brought herself to speak up. "Um...d-does anyone here know CPR?" she asked, looking around. She didn't herself, but Ashley still seemed to be alive currently.

Reese then remembered the kiss of life that Adriana have him. "Adriana! You know CPR!" He yelled a little too loudly, "You saved my life, now you save hers!"

"Y-you want me to kiss Ashley?" she sniffed, her tears slowing. "Do I look like one of those Valentine's booths you give a dollar to?" Adriana's mind was frazzled, so she wasn't thinking quite clearly when Reese had said that.

"Not kiss," Reese explained, "CPR. Look, you are the only one here who knows CPR. At least I think."

"Derek does," Adriana said, pointing at Derek, who had been silent for quite awhile. "He took the class with me. And it seems a bit more appropriate if he would do it."

Derek had been looking away because he wanted to avoid as much as he could. "And here I go adding on to the love squiggle," he groaned, moving towards them.

"You heard Reese, it isn't a kiss," Adriana rolled her eyes, and laughed. The squiggle expanded once more as Derek's lips touched Ashley's and he blew gently into her mouth.

Derek rose up and laced his fingers together, pumping softly on her ribcage. After a couple seconds, Ashley woke up, coughing and vomiting water. Everyone took a step back except for Adriana, who just continued to hug her.

"Dammit Ashley!" she yelled, and hugged her friend tighter. "What the hell were you thinking!"

"What do you mean?" She coughed out. Adriana stared at her with a blank face and said, "Don't play stupid, I know what you did!" Ashley looked at the others. "You don't think..." She turned to Adriana and said, "Oh lord you do think! No no you got it all wrong! I was taking a walk down memory lane and I explored everywhere Jared and I went, the pond was first so I sat by the edge and cried. I wanted to take a quick dip because, well you know, and my splint was too heavy and pulled me under, I tried to call for help but my leg wouldn't float. I swore I died down there!"

Adriana's eyes opened wide and she hugged Ashley tighter. "Don't you dare fricking scare me like that again Ashley! You hear me? NEVER AGAIN!" Adriana cried, and refused to let go of her friend. "We just lost Jared, I can't lose you too Ashley....I can't," she whispered.

"It was an accident," Ashley said before bursting into tears. There was too much talk of Jared now, and she couldn't bear to hear his name. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"WELL YOU DID ANYWAYS!" Adriana cried, and squeezed her even tighter. She couldn't bear to speak anymore, or even let go. Ashley almost left her, and that was too much to handle.

Ashley gave in and wrapped her arm around Adriana, hugging her tightly, and muttered, "I scared myself as well. I thought I was being pulled under and no one would find me in time. Or at all. It was one of the most frightening times of my life."

Derek stood there, being completely ignored once more. Reese stepped in, finally talking to the two girls and all. "Look ladies, you're being very sweet, but Ashley needs to thank someone before we move this dramatic reunion any farther," he chuckled, pointing at Derek.

Derek turned red. "Oh, it was nothing. It MEANT nothing."

Ashley's hand immediately touched her lips, and her eyes opened widely. "Don't tell me that..."
"Yes! The Love Squiggle expands!" Quorra laughed.

Ashley broke away from the hug and sat up straighter. She kept gliding her fingers across her mouth. Derek playfully hit Quorra in the shoulder. "No, it didn't. I swear it meant nothing," He said, blushing.

"Yeah Quorra, it's like when Adri was forced to save me. She's not crazy about me and I see her as a good friend," Reese laughed, and brofisted Derek. "But it does add on to the Love Squiggle somewhat."

Ashley blushed. "Thanks, though," she said to Derek before locking herself in another hug with Adriana.
