"Then we keep bringing them back until they do."

"What if they never do?" Ashley whispered, a lump rising in her throat.

"Ashley, they will. I know you're attached but this needs to stop. For everyone else's sake," Jared explained again, calmly.
"NO! I'M SICK OF IT JARED, I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" Ashley screamed, and ran into the woods.

Rachel ran after Lucy, and Bruno stayed, staring at Jared like he was trying to say something. "I hate you," Jared repeated quietly. That phrase was spinning inside his head.

Jared walked slowly back to camp, finding everyone sitting around a newly lit fire.
"So what happened?" Viper asked. "Where's Ashley?"

"I'm jousting to lay over there," he said before passing out. Was it because of what Ashley said, or lack of food?

"Oh shit. Uh, HELP?" Viper got everyone over there trying to help Jared out.

Bruno came next to Jared. "Oh not now," viper said to the bear, then noticing what she just spoke to.

"Deerrrreeekkkk," Viper whined, backing up.

Adriana joined Viper. "Guys! Get over the damn fear and help me," Derek comamnded.

"But it's gonna eat me!" Viper whined. Adriana came over and helped Derek pull Jared away, and she started to take care of him far away from Bruno

"Bruno isn't going to eat you," Derek said, "Bear eat fish, not flesh."

"But fish are friends! Not food!" Viper bit back.

"You eat fish," Derek muttered

"NOT ALL OF THE TIME!" Viper snapped.

"Still," Derek said

Ashley's POV-
I ran off into an open field. I had no idea this island had just a plain wide open space. I guess its a lot bigger than I thought. I turned to look around me and tripped. "Ow!" My voice echoed. "Oh, I'm sorry Rachel!" I said to the bear I tripped over. I gave her a quick kiss on the head. I got up, searching the area. There was a nice pond, but nothing like where I fell in love with Jared. Jared! Did I really say I hated him? Oh how I feel terrible... I tried going back but I'm lost. I felt warm tears prick in the corner of my eyes as I sat down next to Rachel.

Back at Camp-
"Well Jared's going to be fine, no thanks to you Viper," Derek scoffed.
"I told you I can't stand those things!" She huffed, annoyed.
"Well can you stand being here long enough to watch Jared? I'm finding Ashley. And she has Rachel with her."

"B-b-b-"
"VIPER!"
"Fineeeee,"
As the two left, Viper stood there, staring at the bear, mumbling, "Good bear, don't hurt me bear, good bear,"

Bruno took a step closer to Viper, and she shrieked.
"Viper! Can you knock it off? I'm scared too, but Jared needs to sleep if he's going to be alright! We don't even know what's wrong with him!" Adriana snapped.

"Sorry," she mumbled. Bruno walked closer, and rubbed his head on Viper. She smiled and said, "Hey this isn't so bad!" Adriana crept closer, and started petting him on the head. "You're right," she said, smiling too.
