World War Three ~~

"Steven's more important," Lucy protested.

"He's sleeping. We leave you guys alone for ten minutes and you're breaths away from s**! GOD FRICKEN DAMN!" April's eyes are flaming.

Lucy's eyes opened wide. To save the moment, Jayde appeared in the doorway.

"Mommy! Stop cheating on daddy!" Jayde cried, saying very few words.

Lucy looked confused. She got up and brought Jayde to her room to speak to her.

"Jayde, I'm not your mommy," Lucy murmured softly.

She cried. Jayde wouldn't say anything else, so Lucy coninued, "Jayde, your mommy and daddy left. I'm Lucy."

"Jayde sweetie, I'm nothing like your mommy, okay? I don't like your daddy, I'm sorry."

Jayde hugged Lucy and kept crying.

"I'm sorry Jayde, I'm really sorry," Lucy murmured, stroking Jayde's hair.

Jayde almost stopped crying when Lucy hugged her back. Jayde just wanted someone who cared for her.

"Jayde, I may not be your mom, but that doesn't mean I don't love you. Okay? I love Brandon too. I don't love your daddy, and I'm sorry, but I'll do my best to care for you," Lucy promised.

"I love you," she whispered-cried.

"I love you too," Lucy rubbed Jaydes back.

She was crying, but eventually she cried herself to sleep and Lucy tucked her in.

After Lucy left the room, April was waiting for her.

April was tapping her foot, getting impatient.

"Why the fluck were you flucking him?" April asked, annoyed.

"I wasn't," Lucy said, her sight traveling upwards as she put her hands behind her back.

"Oh my God, Lucy. What am I going to do with you?" April laughed, getting serious again. "Last time I saw you, you were an innocent little girl who babysat little kids 24/7. Now, you have had s*x with like 40 different guys!" Lucy got mad, "That wasn't my choice. Jayde's dad made me!" April continued, "And then I leave you for a short amount of time and come back to you mackin' out with Brandon who is stripping you,"

"April that wasn't planned!" Lucy cried, getting upset. "And I like him. I've always liked him. Is it so wrong for me to kiss the guy I love?"
"When you've probably earned about five STDs already, I'd say yes."

Brandon was here the whole time they were talking, and he hid his face in his knees, guilty thinking he did something wrong.

"April, this is none of your business. I let him kiss me. I wanted him to kiss me. And when he kissed me, I'm the one who kept going. Mind your own business," Lucy snapped.

April put her hands up in surrender and left the room, whispering, "Whatever, I'm going to bed."

"Fine by me," Lucy spat, turning around. Looking around to make sure she was still alone, she walked to her bed, and finally let herself cry.
