Crashed: A Survivor Role Play

Derek laughed a tired laugh. Jared picked up Bruno. "I'm cold. Are you cold bruno?" Jared asked. Adriana rolled her eyes. "Speaking of idiots," she laughed.

"The bear doesn't get cold. It has fur, DUH!" Ashley sighed.
"I hate to break in to this, but does anyone know how we're going to get out of here?" Adriana cut in.

"What if we don't...?" Ashley sighed. Adriana shrugged. There was a silence.

"Are you guys kidding? Of course we'll get off. We have parents and friends and other family. They won't just forget about us!" Jared smiled, trying to lighten the mood.
"Yeah, I guess so," Ashley agreed softly, unsure.

"My parents are alcoholics and smokers, if they're not dead they'll have memory loss," Derek whined.

"Derek, we live right next door. My parents will try to find you if nothing else," Adriana rolled her eyes. "For now I think we should build a shelter, we might be here awhile."
"Uh, guys?" Ashley asked.
"Yeah?" Everybody turned their heads, interested.
"What are we going to do about clothes?"

"That might be a problem..." Adriana trailed off.

"I am not wearing the same clothes for days on end. That's sort of disgusting, you know, not washing them," Ashley sighed.
"Isn't the answer simple?" Jared asked. "You guys go to the pond when we aren't there, strip, and take a bath. Then you can wash your clothes and put them back on when they're dry. When you're done, you can come back and we'll take our turn."
"How come I didn't think of that?" Derek huffed.
"Because you're an idiot," Adriana punched him playfully.

"That just might be true," Derek laughed. Adriana has been calling him 'idiot' since the 1rst grade.

Jared stared at Ashley and mouthed, "Is that a sign?" Ashley nodded, and turned back to the other two, Adriana smiling at the ground and Derek rubbing his arm.

Suddenly, Bruno jumped out of Jared's hands. And started running.

"Should we get him?" Adriana asked. "Or should we let him run? He is a wild animal after all."
"No, he's one of us!" Ashley shouted, chasing after Bruno without a second thought.

Jared, already ahead of Ashley, caught up to the bear. The bear stopped and jumped in the pond, and without thinking so did Jared. "With is with you people and pulling/pushing/making me fall into the pond?" He questioned with a laugh.

"Nobody MADE you," Ashley giggled. "But seriously, that was flirting back there right?"
"Absolutely," Jared grinned.

"It seemed like it. Why would they hide it from us?" Ashley asked. Jared shrugged and said, "we kinda hid us from then," Ashley glared into space and giggled, "Well we couldn't find them,"

"And Adriana figured it out anyways," Ashley pointed out. "But it doesn't seem quite enough for them to be a couple. Just some flirting and smiling."

"I know," Jared said, "we will just have to see."

"I guess," Ashley sighed. "I just wish they would tell us. Why can't we ask them?"
"Because it would be rude, and we aren't rude people," Jared explained.

"Well," Ashley started but got cut off in thought. "Fine," she muttered.

The couple returned to the camp, with the bears following them. "We're back! Again!" Ashley called.

"Wonderful," Derek said.

"How's it going with you two? Do anything productive?" Jared asked, raising his eyebrows.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Adriana cocked her head.
"Oh nothing, nothing," Jared sighed.

Ashley laughed. "Your so stupid sometimes," she laughed out. Jared laughed too. "Like a sir," he said.

"Isn't it like a boss?" Ashley asked.
"Not anymore...." Jared grinned.
"Did we miss something?" Derek asked, looking around. "Everything seems normal..."

"You are stranded on an island with three of your best friends," Adriana said, "Nothings normal!" Under her breath she mumbled, "idiot," and laughed.
